Introduction

On June 6th, 2001 members of the L.H. Bailey Hortorium community and the Cornell Plantations travelled to the Zurich Bog and Chimney Bluffs State Park in Wayne County, New York. The purpose of this trip was to visit with some of the natural history of the Lake Ontario Plain by exploring a large glacial relict bog and an example of dramatically eroding glacial topography.
