Upon acceptance into the Cornell Undergraduate Research Program in the Amazon, I will take the required week-long, one-credit preparatory course offered during the May of the Spring 2000 semester. I will fully participate in all program activities, and work full-time throughout the entire time of the program, beginning June 12, 2000 and ending August 15, 2000. Also, I will prepare a final research report by December 2000.

The top candidates will be interviewed by Dr. Eloy Rodriguez, Dr. Francisco Guanchez and Dr. John Berry.
