PAPAVERACEAE The Poppy Family Subfamily Fumarioideae

 
 

The Fumarioideae produce sap without latex.   
The sepals are small and bractlike.   
The flowers are bilaterally symmetrical.  The outer petals have spurs, and the inner petals are coherent. 

The stamens are 6, 2 with 4 pollen sacs and 4 with 1 pollen sac.
